A BMW is a German-engineered luxury performance automobile. As such, it requires precision care and Kneble’s Auto Service Center provides exactly what you need to keep your BMW running at peak performance. Your BMW is equipped with multiple onboard computer systems that regulate various aspects of your vehicle’s operation including fuel delivery, exhaust emissions, anti-lock brake systems, airbag systems, navigation systems, transmission operation, and much more.
Each of the onboard computer systems in your BMW utilizes sensors to monitor the various systems that they control and send feedback to the respective control module (computer). Over time sensors, control modules, and related wiring can fail, and this can cause a warning light (i.e. check engine light) to come on, and in most cases also set a trouble code. Trouble codes allow our technicians to pinpoint problems that are helpful in the diagnostic process, allowing us to get your BMW back in shape in the shortest time possible.
Kneble’s Auto Service Center is equipped with specialized diagnostic equipment for the diagnosis and repair of BMW vehicles (as well as other German vehicles). This allows our customers to have us handle service and repairs for their vehicles without having to go to the dealership.
Using state of the art BMW diagnostic tools, we can troubleshoot and/or program the following:

- Trouble Codes / Check Engine Light Diagnostics

Frequently Asked Questions About BMW Diagnostic Service:
Yes, we will use genuine BMW parts where desired or required. When your service advisor provides you with an estimate, you can discuss this with him or her.
Anytime there is a warning light on your dashboard, this is an indication that you need to bring your BMW in for a diagnostic test. There is no way to determine the severity of the problem until it is diagnosed, and in many cases, the car’s condition can worsen and in a worst-case, it will stop running.
Ideally, a system malfunction would be detected by a faulty sensor reading, which would cause the check engine light to come on. In some cases, a system failure can occur without warning.
