Maintenance Services

Complimentary Vehicle Inspections – We offer a host of free inspections to help keep your car running smoothly. These include checking tire air pressure, battery condition, air conditioning, exhaust, alignment, and much more. We even offer pre-trip inspections, pre-purchase inspections, and child safety seat inspections; all free of charge!

Oil & Filter Change – Having your oil changed regularly will help extend the life of your vehicle’s engine.

Tune-Up – Keeping your vehicle’s engine tuned up will help ensure that you have a smooth running engine.

Periodic Maintenance (15k, 30k, 60k, 90k services, etc.) – Periodic maintenance services (and included inspections) reduce the possibility of an untimely vehicle breakdown.

Timing Belt Replacement – This is a critical maintenance component. Failure to replace your timing belt could result in a broken timing belt, which will render your car inoperable. In some cases, it can cause engine damage.

Wiper Blade Replacement – Make sure you are prepared for bad weather by ensuring that your wiper blades are replaced before they do bad.

Fluid Flushes – Your car has a variety of fluid systems that require periodic fluid flushing.  These include brake fluid, engine coolant, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid.

Brakes – Your brakes are responsible for stopping your vehicle and require periodic replacement due to normal wear.

Cooling System Flush – Your cooling system keeps your engine from overheating in the summer and freezing in the winter. It is crucial to ensure that the cooling system is properly serviced to ensure it is ready to protect your engine in all climates.

Light Bulb Replacement – Your car is equipped with a variety of light bulbs that will need replacement over time. Some vehicles have dashboard indicators to let you know if a running light or brake light is out, and other times you need to inspect the lights manually.

New Jersey State Inspection – We are a certified New Jersey State Inspection facility and can perform safety inspections, emission inspections, and related repairs.

How Does Your Car Feel When it Drives? Does Your Car Drift, Pull to One Side, or Shake While Driving? You May Need…

New Tires – Tires are made to last for a certain number of miles and then they need to be replaced. Tires can also develop failures that can cause road vibrations or drift from one side to another.

Wheel Alignment – One key to ensuring a long life for your tires is making sure your wheels are in alignment. This will allow the tire tread to wear evenly and give you the most mileage before needing replacement.

Suspension Service – Worn suspension and steering components can cause unstable steering, and also contribute to early tire wear.

Steering System Repair – If you find your car is more difficult to steer, you may have a worn steering component or a worn-out steering unit. Regardless of the root cause, we can find it and get your steering system back to stability.

Wheel Bearing Service – Older vehicles may have wheel bearings that need to be adjusted and newer vehicles typically have sealed wheel bearings that need to be replaced.

Problems That Affect Your Personal Comfort

Heating  – When it’s cold outside, you want to ensure that your heat is available when you need it.

Air Conditioning – Sometimes it’s nice to ride with the windows down, but at other times you want to know that the air conditioning will blow cold when you turn it on.

Are You Having Major Car Problems?

Engine Won’t Crank When You Turn the Key – This could be something as simple as needing a battery, or it could be something more advanced malfunctioning within your electrical system. Let our team of experts diagnose this for you.

The Engine Cranks But Won’t Start – If your fuel system is not operating properly, it won’t send fuel to the engine to start. Whether it’s a fuel pump, sensor, or computer-related failure, we can pinpoint the problem and get you back on the road.

Check Engine / Service Engine Light On – This is an indication that you need to have your vehicle serviced. It could be a reminder of periodic service, an emission control system failure, or a sign of something more serious. In many cases, your vehicle’s computer will set a trouble code to point our technicians in the direction of the problem.

Engine is Making Noise – If your engine is making an abnormal noise, we don’t recommend driving it as this could cause further damage. Give us a call to have your vehicle towed in for service.

Transmission Slips or Won’t Shift – Low transmission fluid can cause your transmission to slip or fail to shift. If you are comfortable checking the fluid, this would be a good place to start. You don’t want to drive the vehicle if the transmission won’t shift or is slipping as this can cause further damage. If the fluid is low then there is most likely a leak which we can address. If you need transmission repair (or replacement) we can handle that as well.

Clutch Slipping – If your vehicle has a manual transmission and you find it slipping between gears, you might need a clutch adjustment or a clutch replacement.

Car Failed Emission Test – If your car did not pass it’s latest emission test, our technicians can assess what needs to be fixed. Perhaps it’s just overdue for a tune-up, or it might need something more advanced such as a sensor replacement. In any case, we will get your car’s engine running clean again.

Car is Making Noise

Squealing Noise Coming from Under the Hood Area – This could be caused by a worn or faulty drive belt or drive belt pulley.

Ticking / Popping Sound – An exhaust leak could cause this type of noise.

Clicking Noise on Turning – Potentially caused by a faulty CV Joint or Axle Shaft.

Growling Noise When Car is Moving – Worn tires could potentially cause a “growling” noise that is heard only when the vehicle is in motion.

Whining Noise on Turns – Low power steering fluid could be a culprit here. If the fluid is leaking, it could cause the level to drop below normal which can introduce air into the system, causing a whining noise.
