What auto repair center do you use to service your vehicle? Now, not all of you may have the opportunity to go to Kneble’s Auto. Hi, I’m Nancy at Kneble’s Auto. Now I’m going to give you some food for thought when you are deciding what auto repair center to go to. Here are 10 things to consider. Number one, knowledge. Knowledge is the key to repairing today’s complex vehicles which are operated by computers. Does the technician display the certifications of their knowledge? Number two, recommendation. Ask friends, family, someone in your community. Who do they use? Number three, equipment. Today’s auto repair centers need to be equipped with the technology to diagnose and repair all makes and models. And can they repair the make of your vehicle? Number four, warranty. Know the warranty for that repair being done. For example, at Kneble’s Auto, we offer a two-year or 24,000 parts and labor warranty on most repairs.
Number five, is their parking lot busy? Number six, has the service writer explained the repair recommended, and if possible, show you the problem with your vehicle? Number seven, is the shop and that waiting room neat and clean? Is it comfortable? Number eight, are the employees courteous and friendly and do they make you feel comfortable? Number nine, do they maintain your records on file so that you know what work has been done? And number 10, do they get your permission prior to all repairs? And are they keeping you informed as the process happens along the way?
Trusting someone to repair your vehicle is important. By the way, we do all those things and more. So finding your automotive repair specialist in your area is recommended to be done prior to being in an emergency and having to not have that opportunity to do your due diligence. Peace of mind is important. Happy hunting. And thank you for watching our video. Check out a new video every Wednesday at noon, and we may discuss such topics as do you need shocks and struts? Or having the right to have your vehicle repaired at an auto center of your choice. Thank you.
