Do you know your rights when choosing a service center for your vehicle’s repairs? Do you think if you don’t take your vehicle to the dealer then your vehicle no longer be warrantied by the manufacturer?
Hi, I’m Nancy at Kneble’s Auto Service Center. Do you know in 1975 the federal government enacted a law called the Magnuson–Moss Warranty law. This law prohibits the manufacturers from voiding their warranty when services are parched or performed by a non-dealer. This law also applies to vehicles that are leased, so feel free and comfortable that your repairs can be done by your local service center and your manufacturer will not be able to void that warranty.
