Nancy: Oh, hi there. Here at Kneble’s Auto for the first time, we were doing a Toys for Tot drive. Now to kickstart this, we are going to offer anybody who comes in, get 10% off of your service and all you have to do for that is to bring a toy, an unwrapped toy, and put it in our toy box drive and you get 10% off of your service.
Grant: Wait, mom or you telling me that no matter what size toy, no matter how big, no matter how small, no matter how expensive or cheap, it would count as 10%.
Nancy: It does, Grant.
Grant: So you’re telling me I didn’t need to buy this really big NERF gun because anything is 10%.
Nancy: Anything is 10% no matter what you bring in. That’s pretty big, Grant.
Grant: So you’re telling me I could have just done a football?
Nancy: You could have, Grant. Somebody would like that.
Grant: Or a Barbie doll.
Nancy: Oh somebody’s definitely like that.
Grant: Absolutely.
Nancy: Wait, what about my toy that’s going to remind me of my childhood I picked up, Grant. Trouble.
Grant: Trouble, I got in plenty of that when I was a kid.
Nancy: Oh for sure, Grant you did.
Grant: And don’t forget, Ma, we got to make sure all the sports are taken care of. So we got basketballs and football too.
Nancy: Well Grant you know what else besides like a toy that reminds me of my childhood? I got something that I know all the kids are playing with and that would like. Grant I got, I don’t even know what it was called, Grant, what is it?
Grant: It’s a fidget spinner, mom.
Nancy: Oh yeah, I knew what it looked like, Grant, I knew people were playing with it.
Grant: Mom, that’s so last month.
Nancy: Oh really?
Grant: But guess what? It goes in the box and you got 10% off.
Nancy: I like that.
Grant: Easy as that, because at the end of the day, holidays is about giving and there are a lot of unfortunate kids out there.
Nancy: That’s true.
Grant: So we want to make sure that they get plenty of toys and to be able to do that, we’re giving 10% off. Literally anything.
Nancy: 10%.
Grant: Except for tires.
Nancy: Oh, that’s correct, Grant, yeah.
Grant: Unfortunately, sorry. But we’ll give you 10% off on everything else because that’s how crazy we are and that’s how committed we are to make sure these kids have a great Christmas and Great Hanukkah and Great Kwanzaa, and great holidays.
Nancy: I think you covered all the holidays, Grant.
Grant: And you know what, mom? Tell the people that they don’t need to get a service done. They can just come in, say hi to your smiling face and drop off a toy as simple as this in the box.
Nancy: Because you’re helping out all those kids in need. That’s a great gesture, Grant.
Grant: Now say, “Happy holidays.”
Nancy: Happy holidays.
