Getting your car in for routine maintenance is important as it minimizes breakdowns, keeps the car running at optimal performance, and ultimately extends the life of the vehicle. Each manufacturer establishes a set of maintenance services to be performed at various mileage or time intervals. Your maintenance service schedule can often be found in your car’s owner’s manual. If you don’t have your owner’s manual, the team at Kneble’s can assist you in finding out the recommended service schedule for your vehicle, so just give us a call. Below we have also provided a generic maintenance service schedule which can give you an idea of what types of services you might need at different service intervals.
Oil Change – Unless otherwise specified in your owner’s manual, we recommend having your engine oil changed every 5,000 miles. Some manufacturers will recommend this at a different interval such as 7,500 miles, so it is best to find out what the manufacturer recommends (and we can help with that). With every oil change, you should have your fluids topped off and have a standard vehicle inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions About Vehicle Maintenance Services:
Your owner’s manual contains the recommended maintenance schedule for your vehicle. If you don’t have an owner manual, we can assist you in ordering one. We can also look up your vehicle’s maintenance schedule using our resources.
Bringing your car in for periodic maintenance is important to help minimize breakdowns, by having the vehicle inspected, as well as performing the service work that keeps your car running at its optimal performance. In the worst case, missing an important maintenance interval could result in a breakdown due to a parts failure or other malfunction.
Keeping records of vehicle maintenance can be very helpful in the event of warranty issues to verify that you kept the vehicle properly maintained, as not doing so could void a warranty. Additionally, if you move and have to change repair shops, the new shop will not have any history of your repairs and maintenance.
